About

Who we are

Glebe Farm is a family run farm surrounded by the beautiful Waddesdon Manor and estate, we are nestled in a quiet location on the outskirts of the village.

The farm is home to our herd of suckler beef cows where we breed Aberdeen Angus for M&S, as well as our two pet sheep (Dolly and Polly)!

Our vision

Glebe Farm Horse Livery was opened by Hazel in 2016, after growing up on the farm, she wanted to share the wonderful hacking and facilities she had been so lucky to experience, with like-minded horse owners.

Her ambition has been to create an environment to provide a safe and comfortable home for your horse, whereby horse owners can enjoy their equine partner, feel part of a friendly horsey community whether your ambition is to compete or just simply enjoy the wonderful hacking we have onsite and nearby.

Behind the scenes

The livery yard would not be what it is today without the support of David, one of the farmers and Hazel’s father, and Matthew, the “other” farmer and Hazel’s husband. Whilst they tend to avoid handling the horses, they are heavily involved in the maintenance of the yard and can usually be found clearing gutters around the stable barn or clearing away the muck heap.

“Drama free yard, exceptional management, close to bridleways in waddesdon manor, as well as on-site hacking. Everything you need in one place, and very knowledgeable. Only wish I’d moved there sooner!”
