Is there a booking system for the arena?

We have a diary that lives in our tearoom where you can book the school out.

Are there any restrictions on winter turnout?

No, we have no time restrictions in winter for turnout, however, we do ask that horses are not turned out or brought in when it is dark.

Does the yard have opening hours?

We ask that liveries arrive no earlier than 6.30am, unless agreed with Hazel with prior notice, and are there no later than 9pm.

What security measures are in place?

David lives on site, we have CCTV covering the yard and an alarm system covering the whole farm. The tack room and storage rooms are both locked with coded padlocks.

Is there extra charges for using the arena or walker lights?

No there is no extra charge, the use of all facilities is included.

How do we request assistance?

We ask for 24hrs notice for assistance unless an emergency, otherwise we implement a double charge. I contact everyone on a Sunday for assistance requests for the week ahead. If you require assistance at weekends or are on holiday, it requires at least 2 weeks’ notice.

Do you allow children and dogs?

Children and dogs are allowed on the yard providing both are under control. Children under the age of 16 MUST be accompanied by an adult.

Are there a set of yard rules?

We do not have any written “rules” although there are terms set out in our livery contracts that all liveries must abide by. We just ask that everyone treats the yard as if it was their own.
